Milford Communications is excited to announce plans to install fiber optics in rural Milford!
Milford Communications was awarded a grant through the State of Iowa’s Empower Rural Iowa Broadband Grant Program, which will be used to assist in the deployment of a fiber-to-the-premise network in the rural Milford area. This will provide customers with the most reliable high-speed Internet, Voice, Digital TV and Business Communications services.
Fiber is a future-proof technology, making this a valuable investment in the rural community. This $8 million project will allow Milford Communications to provide the latest products and services including Internet speeds in excess of 1 Gigabit per second. We feel that providing rural Milford with this state-of-the-art technology will greatly benefit the community for decades to come.
